I'm getting ready to put in the cold-weather vegetables. It turns out we will be here through the end of July, so I am going to go ahead and plant potatoes, onions, and peas again. I would also like to try carrots and beets in the later spring.
Box 1: All potatoes--2 varieties
Yukon Gold + ?
Box 2: 4 squares peas--Super Snappy + use up the rest of others
4 squares onion
3 squares beets
3 squares carrots
2 squares flowers
To get ready to plant:
1. Pooper scoop!
2. Rake up leaves from boxes that haven't decomposed and add to compost pile.
3. Add dirt & compost as needed to fill up boxes.
4. Replace string for measuring squares, as needed.
5. Purchase potatoes, onion sets, check number of seeds and buy if needed.
6. Plant potatoes, onions, and peas some time around March 17!
