Happy birthday to me!
These were an early birthday present this spring, and boy was I glad to see them!
I was doing all kinds of research about building a compost bin and such, but hadn't landed on any one design. Enter the big black drums. Yes!
So far they're both pretty full, but haven't produced any useable compost yet.
We started off with so much brown matter, due to spring cleanup in the flowerbeds, that I think it has taken quite awhile to get past the "Dead Sticks Syndrome."
They're fairly easy to turn, even full, with the indentations for handles.
I'm hoping for great things!
